Welcome to your Pathway Planner
To find out what your business might be worth, you can use this quick assessment, where we’ll ask you a few questions about your business, goals and preferences. To prepare, it may be helpful to have a few key details to hand, such as:
Percentage split of products you advise on
Average age of your clients
Total AUM for your firm
Annual revenue from ongoing advice fees
The Pathway Planner will only take a few minutes to complete and will give you an approximate valuation range for your business, and the ability to schedule a free, no-obligation discussion with a Bankhall specialist to help get started on matching you to an ideal buyer.
Things to note when using our Pathway Planner:
The true value of your business will depend on the buyer. You will often see a spread of valuations offered by different buyers which is why our Pathway Planner provides a valuation range, rather than a single headline figure.
The Pathway Planner uses a “multiple of ongoing advice” method to provide the approximate valuation range. This method will probably only apply when you have a smaller business or are only selling a client bank. Larger businesses, where you are transferring clients, staff and premises, will likely use an adjusted EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation) valuation method.
This valuation is not intended to replace a more formal valuation. Rather, it provides an approximate valuation range. We will create a more detailed and accurate valuation of your business as we progress through the Exit Pathway journey.
